The CleanImplant Foundation welcomes three new members to its Scientific Advisory Board and a new ambassador. Prof. Dr. Jörg Neugebauer, Dr. Piotr Majewski, and Prof. Dr. Ebru Karabece bring expertise in digital dentistry, implantology, and prosthodontics to the Board. Prof. Dr. Eitan Mijiritsky joins the Foundation’s international Ambassador Network.
Prof. Dr. Jörg Neugebauer (Germany, Scientific Advisory Board)
Prof. Dr. Jörg Neugebauer is Professor of Digitalization in Dentistry and Senator at Steinbeis University in Ludwigshafen, as well as Adjunct Professor at Dalian Medical University. He served as President of the Academy of Osseointegration in 2024/25 and is a Life-time Fellow and Diplomate of the Academy, Honorary President of the Chinese Society of Digitized Dental Industry, and a board member of the ICBI. His collaboration with Dr. Dirk Duddeck began during their studies in Heidelberg, while his years as head of development at an implant manufacturer shaped his commitment to consistently high surface cleanliness in implant systems.
Dr. Piotr Majewski (Poland, Scientific Advisory Board)
Dr. Piotr Majewski, DDS, PhD, heads the Department of Implantology at the Institute of Dentistry, Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow. He is also Director of the Central European Implant Academy (CEIA). After supporting the Foundation as an ambassador in Poland, he now brings his clinical and academic experience to the Scientific Advisory Board.
Prof. Dr. Ebru Karabece (Türkiye, Scientific Advisory Board)
Prof. Dr. Ebru Karabece is Professor of Prosthodontics at İzmir Tınaztepe University. As an ambassador of the Foundation in Türkiye, she has advocated for the importance of independently assessed surface cleanliness for patients and clinicians. On the Scientific Advisory Board, she contributes a prosthodontic perspective to the Foundation’s scientific work.
Prof. Dr. Eitan Mijiritsky (Israel, Ambassador)
Prof. Dr. Eitan Mijiritsky is Associate Professor of Prosthodontics at Tel Aviv University School of Dental Medicine, where he coordinates international academic affairs, and Associate Professor at Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest. He is President of the European Prosthodontic Association and Past President of the Israel Society of Prosthodontics. He earned his PhD summa cum laude with research on immediate loading and lectures internationally as a keynote speaker.
